I organized and sustained a monthly fundraising initiative that continued beyond my presidency, reflecting my dedication to impactful community service and child health advocacy.

Global and Cross-Functional Experience

I have worked across Angola, South Africa, Senegal, Mauritania, the Middle East, and the UK in finance, HR, logistics, project management, global software deployment, oil and gas production, engineering, maintenance, information systems, and contract management. This breadth enables me to translate complex business needs into practical, scalable solutions.

Mentorship

I have had the privilege of serving as the leading minister at my local church, where I have thoughtfully guided a vibrant community of 78 individuals ranging from infants to seniors. In the summer of 2024, I initiated an impactful Boot Camp aimed at empowering young people ages 11 to 25, equipping them with valuable skills and spiritual insights to navigate their futures. This initiative has been a cornerstone of my commitment to fostering multi-generational growth and leadership within the congregation.

Inspired by Jesus' Commandments: Love God and Love Your Neighbor as Yourself

Driven by love and dedication, my service and mentorship are rooted in the mission of caring for people's well-being beyond financial gain or reward.

Recognition

I have been honored with awards, including Best Project Delivery with SAP HR, the BP Award of Respect, the One Team award, and as a nominee for the Global Helious Award in 2016 for leading efficiencies that saved millions of dollars. These recognitions reflect my commitment to delivering impactful results while fostering collaboration, respect, and operational excellence.

Music as a voice of truth

I began my journey in music as a teenager in Angola, writing rap lyrics that reflected the realities of our time. Together with my childhood best friend, Fuludiambo Lombo "Jaja", I co-founded the rap group Grito do Protexto (The Scream of Protest).

Our songs spoke about poverty, war, and the pain of a generation. Many young people never returned from war, while others came back with permanent physical disabilities. One of our most powerful songs told the story of a homeless man with a disability, surviving on the streets — a mirror of the society around us.

Music, for me, was never about fame.
It was about truth, awareness, and responsibility.

Growth, roots, and cultural identity

In 1997, I learned to play the guitar and joined Delorios Freitas, where we formed the band DDK – Dizui Dia Kidi (The Voice of Truth), named in honor of my mother, Margarida A.F. Carvalho.

During this period, I wrote songs inspired by African mothers — their strength, resilience, and silent sacrifices. My greatest inspirations were my mother, my grandmother, and later the legendary Angolan singer Lourdes Van-Dúnem, whom I had the privilege of meeting and learning from.

In 1998, I initiated, wrote, and co-produced an HIV awareness anthem that brought together more than 25 emerging singers and musicians.
Later, Delorios and I founded JODEL 206, producing four music albums centered on child abuse and exploitation, infant pregnancy, and the complex social challenges and future uncertainties affecting our communities.

From expression to service

As my creative journey evolved, so did my spiritual path.

I became deeply involved in church life, working closely with youth groups, serving as an actor in the Tribe C Theatre Group, and singing in the church choir.

In the 2020s, I served as an events planner and financial officer, contributing through organization, leadership, and stewardship.

Over time, my calling became clearer, and I was ordained from Usher to Minister, continuing to serve with humility, structure, and intention.

Where I stand today

Today, I bring together everything I have lived and learned — music, leadership, spirituality, and life experience — into a single mission:

To help people live with intention, align their inner life with their actions, and lead with integrity.

My work is not about quick motivation or surface-level success.
It is about clarity, discipline, alignment, and purpose.

For some, this path is rooted in faith.
For others, in consciousness and values.
For me, it is about intentional living — practiced daily.
